HUTCHERSONS FIRST MEETING- Weakley County Mayor Dale Hutcherson attended his first County Commission meeting as the new mayor of Weakley County on Monday, September 16. Hutcherson sat with the audience instead of at the seat in front alongside County Attorney Allison Whitledge, choosing instead to allow Chairman for the Commission Dennis Doster to take that seat. Hutcherson spoke to the commission on transparency and servitude. “We're a commission and a board that thrives on transparency and serving the people. I'm excited to be here,” Hutcherson stated. Hutcherson informed the commission that the county website was being revamped, so new bios from each commissioner would be updated soon.
