Willa Joyce Beasley 1943 - 2022

Willa Joyce Beasley, 78, of Paris, died Sunday, February 13, 2022, at the Hillview Community Living Center in Dresden.

Joyce was a retired LPN. She enjoyed browsing at yard sales, which aided her in adding to her collection of odd and unusual things. She got joy from making people laugh. She was a member of Hodges Chapel Baptist Church in Palmersville.

Born July 22, 1943, in Dresden, Joyce was the daughter of the late Geather Wallace Marcus and the late Mary Warren.

Joyce was married in 1968 to Walter “Wes” Beasley, who survives of Paris.

Along with her husband, survivors include her three sons, Tim (Carol) Walker of Lansing, Michigan, David (Angel) Beasley of Ringgold, Georgia, and Mark (Maria) Beasley of Johnson City, Tennessee; two sisters, Judy Rippee of Mobile, Alabama, and Sue Wells of Nashville; six grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Joyce was also preceded in death by a son, Todd Walker; and two brothers, Jim Marcus and David Marcus.

Arrangements were handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN 38242. Visitation was held Wednesday, February 16, 2022, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Her funeral service was held Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home.

Family members and friends served as pallbearers.

Burial followed the service in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Springville.
