Westview Secures First-Round Playoff Game

WESTVIEW SECURES FIRST-ROUND PLAYOFF GAME - On Friday, October 1, the Westview High School Chargers football team traveled to Union City to face the Golden Tornadoes in an important region game. The Chargers managed to hold the Tornadoes to 42-7, securing a first round home game in the TSSAA playoffs. Westview is 6-1 for the season and 3-0 in the region. The Chargers are ranked 3rd in TSSAA’s Division 1, Class 2A. Charger Javion Goins outran the Tornadoes’ defense, and picked up three rushing touchdowns during Friday night’s game.
