Weakley County May 2022 Grand Jury Indictments

Nearly 50 people were indicted by the May 2022 term of the Weakley County Grand Jury last week when the District Attorney General’s office presented cases of those facing felony charges to the jury. Members of the jury are asked to determine if there is enough evidence to indict an individual for those charges. Those listed below, with the exception of secret or sealed indictments, have been through the General Sessions Court system and had their cases bound over to the grand jury, which convenes quarterly in Weakley County.

Charges range from theft to drugs to sexual battery charges. Those with sealed indictments are being sought by local law enforcement agencies to begin the process of working through the Circuit Court system. The following individuals, along with their list of charges and bond amounts, face felony charges. They were:
