We Care Ministries November Needs

We need your donations to help others. WHEN YOU DONATE LOCALLY, you are helping people you see around you every day. Your donations and dollars spent in our thrift store help us to assist residents in Weakley County. We do not have the resources to pick up your donations but you can be assured that your donations that are dropped here will be used to support this county and the needs within this county. Your household items become peas, corn, cereal, water and utility assistance, rental assistance, eye and dental care, school supplies for children and other assistance programs of this ministry.

CHRISTMAS APPLICATIONS begin Monday, Oct 3rd, 2022 for Family Toy Assistance and Senior Adult Christmas Party.

Apply in person at We Care Ministries, 530 North Lindell St, Martin, Tn.

EARLY applications will be taken on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 11:30 am thru Nov 10th, 2022.

Provide proof of address by presenting one of the following – Cable bill, Electric bill, Martin Housing Authority statement, Phone bill or Water bill.

Provide your Social Security card on all eligible adults in your home.

ANGEL TREES: If your church is having an angel tree for WE CARE, please have items in by Monday, December 5.

FOOD BANK: saltine crackers, oatmeal, and muffin mix, kid-friendly foods

THRIFT STORE: Gently used household items, kitchen and cooking items, good usable furniture, chest of drawers, reusable plastic bags. We can no longer accept large TVs: FLAT SCREEN TV ONLY. We DO NOT take computer towers, monitors or laptops; built in appliances, sofa bed, and paint from individuals OR home recorded VCR tapes. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT ACCEPT TIRES.

MISCELLANEOUS: BOOKS (Christian fiction and non-fiction, romance, and mystery). Bibles for children and adults, western books, Children’s books.

Thank you for your continued support of WE CARE Ministries. Weakley County supports WE CARE through donations of clothing and household items and through financial donations. Your donations make a difference in the lives of others.

DONATION HOURS: If a receipt is required: Monday and Thursday 7:30 am- 4:00 pm, Saturday 7:30 am until 12 noon. If receipt is not required: Containers are available outside at all times for donations if no receipt is needed. PLEASE, if we are roped off, do not leave donations. When we are roped off, we are OUT of space and OUT of containers. We will not be roped off any longer than absolutely necessary.

NOTE: Donation hours are CLOSED on HOLIDAY weekends.

NOTE: WE CARE will be closed Nov. 23, 24, 25, and 26.
