WE CARE Ministries, located at 530 N. Lindell St. in Martin has announced the following needs for donations for June.
Donations and money spent in the Thrift Store help assist residents in Weakley County. The facility does not have any means to pick up donations, but dropped off items become peas, corn, cereal, utility and rental assistant, eye and dental care, school supplies for children and other assistance programs of the local ministry.
The Thrift Store is open every Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. (outside sales begin at 9 a.m.) and Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. (outside sales begin at 8:30 a.m.).
Hours of assistance are Mondays and Thursdays from 9-11:30 a.m. No assistance is available on Wednesdays. Call 731-587-6257 for more information.
WE CARE Ministries is in need of a laser printer for its office.
Other needs include:
FOOD BANK: saltine crackers, oatmeal, and muffin mix.
THRIFT STORE: Gently used household items, kitchen and cooking items, good usable furniture, chest of drawers, reusable plastic bags. We can no longer accept large TVs: FLAT SCREEN TV ONLY. We DO NOT take computer towers, monitors or laptops; built in appliances, sofa bed, and paint from individuals OR home recorded VCR tapes.
MISCELLANEOUS: BOOKS (Christian fiction and non-fiction, romance, and mystery). Bibles for children and adults, western books, Children’s books.
If a receipt is required for donations, they are available Monday and Thursday 7:30 a.m.- 4 p.m., Saturday 7:30 a.m. until noon. If receipt is not required, containers are available outside at all times for donations if no receipt is needed.
