Twin Brothers Celebrate 90th Birthday
Twin brothers, Ramon Matheny of Greenfield and Damon Matheny of Atwood, celebrated their 90th birthday together on 16-March 2025. Both enjoyed a birthday celebration in their honor at the Howse Baptist Church fellowship room in Atwood, Tn.
They enjoyed food, celebrations and games with family and friends. They both expressed their thankfulness of being able to still enjoy active lives and the remarkable privilege to celebrate this milestone together.
When asked what contributed to getting to this age, both said it was nothing but God’s will. But did stress that 90 years “sure went by fast, so enjoy every day to the fullest”.
Ramon still works in his shop building and repair what needs to be done, while Damon is remodeling a building for himself. Both said they appreciate all the celebration and recognition, but it was seeing all the ones they love gathered that made it so special.
