Tennessee Strong Ambassador

On March 10, the guest speaker for the Greenfield Kiwanis Club meeting was Annabelle Lovell, 13-year-old daughter of Rachel and Robert Lovell. Annabelle is an Ambassador for Tennessee Strong. Tennessee Strong is an organization that educates the public concerning the need to stop tobacco and “Revolutionize Our New Generation.” Annabelle shared a PowerPoint presentation with a message on how Tennessee Strong wants to educate the public concerning the issue of tobacco among today’s youth. She had to put together a video to submit to the organization in order to be selected for this position. On March 24, Jaime Rickman, Dresden Middle School Guidance Counselor, will be presenting a program on the Lion’s Den store within Dresden Middle School, where their students may go to buy things they need. The store began as a Christmas Store by Leigh Hart so that the students could Christmas shop for their families. Now it has become a year-round store where students may shop for what they need.
