He was born on Sept. 18, 1942, to the late David Henry and Helen Louise Clark Jones. He was a member of the Tennessee Army National Guard.

Services will be held Friday, Dec. 8 at 11:30 a.m. at Memphis Funeral Home, with visitation from 10-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. at Memorial Park South Woods, Memphis. He was born Dec. 26, 1948, to the late Willie Paul and Mary Lou Dane.
