NWTN Hunger Relief Guide Published

Posted

Thanks to last year's #SeedMoney Donations, the NWTN Local Food Network recently printed their 2nd edition of the NWTN Hunger Relief Guide. To support next year’s #GrowFoodChallenge and Hunger Relief initiatives, you can donate to their current Seed Money Fundraising Campaign here: donate.seedmoney.org/10266/grow-food-challenge

“Our goal is to connect locally grown foods to our community members in need,” stated Samantha Smith Goyret, Co-Director of the NWTN Local Food Network. “When we all eat well, we feel well and our communities thrive from increased access to foods.”

The NWTN Hunger Relief guide can be downloaded and printed from the NWTN Local Food Network’s website nwtnlfn.org/volunteer/plant-a-row-for-the-hungry.

The #GrowFoodChallenge is paid for through a #SeedMoney Grant. Relieve Hunger by Growing Your Own Food and Reducing Food Waste!  We hope you can join us for next year’s Northwest Tennessee #GrowFoodChallenge. Learn more at nwtnlfn.org/grow-food-challenge.

Local growers are encouraged to donate their extra produce to food pantries throughout the region by downloading the guide from NWTN LFN’s webpage: nwtnlfn.org/volunteer/plant-a-row-for-the-hungry.

The Northwest Tennessee Local Food Network is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based out of Martin, TN with a mission to serve as a catalyst for a thriving and equitable local food system that is accessible to ALL in Northwest Tennessee.
