Nights of Lights Christmas Display Offered in Downtown Martin

Posted

MARTIN (December 4) - Experience the North Pole in Martin with a Nights of Lights Christmas Display.

This free mini drive-through exhibit will open Friday, December 4 until Wednesday, December 23.

The display will be open from 5:30-9 p.m. each day. Santa will be there on special event days.

The drive-through will be closed on Sundays.

The City of Martin is transforming the exterior and interior of the Downtown Martin Famers Market pavilion into a winter wonderland. Visitors can drive through the middle of the market and experience the North Pole and winter-themed light displays.

Santa and his elves will be visiting Martin every Friday and Saturday evening to wave at children as they drive by. The elves will collect letters and hand out treats to passengers.

City of Martin employees are collecting canned and non-perishable goods each evening. Donations are not required to enter, but are appreciated.

Historic Downtown shops and eateries are also decked out for the holiday season and welcome guests before and after viewing the Nights of Lights Display.

Due to the increasing risks of COVID-19, visitors are asked remain inside their vehicles. This is a drive-through event only. Santa will not be open for close contact visits, but will be waving to passengers from a safe distance. Santa's elves will be wearing face coverings for safety.
