Martha Mae Rowland, 78, of Springville, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at her residence. Her funeral service was held Friday, April 9, at McEvoy Funeral Home with Pastor Raymond Eaton officiating. Burial followed at New Liberty Cemetery.
Martha Mae Rowland was born April 14, 1942, in Wyatt, Missouri, to the late Marcy Hall Lee and the late Ella Mae Meadows Lee. On August 19, 1993, she married Royce Rowland and he survives in Springville, TN.
Martha Mae was a member of Russwood Baptist Church in Buchanan. She retired from World Color in Dresden and later worked at Buchanan Resort.
Along with her husband, Ms. Rowland is also survived by two daughters: Penney (Wayne) Boyd of Lascassas, Tennessee, and Dawn (Mark) Boehler of Corinth, Mississippi; two sons: John (Amanda) McDearmon of Auburntown, Tennessee, and Timothy McDearmon of Paducah, Kentucky; seven grandchildren: Desir (Gene) Thorpe, Kirtsie (Hunter) Hayes, Dalton (Kelli) Boyd, Steven McDearmon, Landon McDearmon, Luke McDearmon and Amber Fletcher; four great-grandchildren: Greg Spencer, Gracie Thorpe, Gage Thorpe and Gene Thorpe; a sister, Betty Stallings of Brookport, Illinois; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Besides her parents, Martha was also preceded in death by a son, Lee McDearmon, and two brothers: Harold Lee and Paul Lee.
Pallbearers for Ms. Rowland were her grandchildren: Dalton Boyd, Landon McDearmon, Luke McDearmon, Steven McDearmon, Greg Spencer and Hunter Hayes.
