COOKEVILLE (January 8) – More than 4,160 students have earned top academic performance honors, being named to Tennessee Tech University’s Fall 2020 dean’s list.
Those who were named to the Dean’s List from the region included:
Dresden: Clayton L. Cook.
Gleason: Chase D. Colotta, Ignatius James Colotta, and James M. Owen.
Martin: Aalia Shay Bivens, Rachel Estelle Coleman, Spencer H. Legins, Briley Taler Johnson and Leah Renee Owen. Sharon: Tyler John Darroch.
Greenfield: Mason M. Hilliard.
McKenzie: Charles A Lindsey and Brandon Lewis Plunk.
South Fulton: Maddison B Henderson.
Those from Weakley County who graduated from Tennessee Tech University included:
Dresden: Kyle Patrick Brundige, Clayton L. Cook and Matthew Scott Hewett.
Martin: Rachel Estelle Coleman, Samuel Kyle Lusby, and Leah Renee Owen.
Sharon: Tyler John Darroch.
Gleason: James M. Owen.

South Fulton: Maddison B. Henderson.
The dean’s list recognizes academic performers across the university’s eight academic colleges and schools. To be included on the list, a student must attend the university full time and earn a grade-point average of at least 3.1 on the 4.0 scale.
More than 700 degrees were awarded in December to women and men who came to Tech from 95 counties throughout Tennessee, as well as several other states and countries.
Those earning undergraduate degrees represent 41 fields of study and those receiving graduate degrees represent 28 fields of study.
