Letters to Santa: Weakley County Mayor Dale Hutcherson

Dear Santa,

Thank you for bringing the children and residents of Weakley County gifts again this year as well as for showing up to some of our local events and parades—it is greatly appreciated, and we’re always excited to see you! One ask I have is that you continue to come around each and every year. We have so many great residents and families who are deserving of your presence and presents. We are so grateful for our community schools, county employees, various departments, department heads, commissioners and citizens—and they all deserve the best from you this year (and every year to follow). We’d also ask that you help bring in new industry (a toymaker, perhaps?), improved infrastructure and plenty of revenue to boost our local economies in Greenfield, Gleason, Sharon, Palmersville, Latham, Dukedom, Pillowville, Dresden and Martin. Finally, I’d ask that you help all of Weakley County to remember the reason for the season—which is that God sent His Son, Jesus, so that we may be saved from our sins.

Merry Christmas to everyone in Weakley County, and please let everyone at the North Pole know we said hello!

Sincerely,

Dale Hutcherson

Weakley County Mayor
