Dear Santa:
The City of Martin has been very good this year!
Who would have thought that you could have brought all the things on our list last year so we are asking for all the big things again-- a new hotel complete for 2026, three pickle ball courts, a new playground at the Martin Recreation Complex, more local restaurants, over 35,000 visitors again to the Tennessee Soybean Festival, more state championship games for the Westview Chargers, increased enrollment for UT Martin, curbside recycling to begin in July 2025, more local restaurants, another year of over 30,000 Martin Public Library patrons again, good jobs for our residents, growth for our industrial and manufacturing industry, continued excellent public safety services and utilities, continued good healthcare availability, to plant more trees, over 20,000 patrons to the Martin Farmers Market again this year, and over 20,000 visitors again to Santa’s Village, continued historic revitalization, and a thriving local retail economy.
Most of all for our residents, I ask for the blessings of joy, peace, and love this Christmas Season and for the New Year to come.
So basically Santa, WE WANT IT ALL!
With sincerest best wishes,
Mayor Randy Brundige
