Letters to Santa: Dresden Mayor Mark Maddox

Dear Santa,

The citizens of Dresden are still recovering from the 2021 tornado, but we have tried to be very good this year.  I think we have succeeded.

If you can find these things in your workshop, we wish no child in Dresden to be hungry, or cold, or without a coat or socks or other needed clothing.  Santa, please let us know about them and we will help you.

For our city, we wish the City Hall construction to be completed.  We wish for added jobs, which will mean more citizens, young and old, enjoy our parks.  We could use some pipes to fix our leaks; some materials to fill potholes; and some new paint for the water towers.

Finally, we wish for immeasurable safety for our employees and an abundance of kindness, hope, peace, joy and love for everyone.

Mayor Mark Maddox

Dresden, TN Mayor
