Katelan Bertsch Completes TCAT Welding Program

On August 25, 2022, Katelan Bertsch of Dresden graduated as the first female welding student to complete the program at TCAT’s Weakley County Campus in Dresden.

Jeremy Tucker was Katelan’s welding instructor.

“Katelan is a great welder,” said Tucker. “She is always polite and worked hard to achieve her goal. She expressed interests in working as a tig welder during her last term. We went to work to make that happen. She began working for THOR Boats in Union City, Tennessee, the Monday following her graduation.”
