JACKSON (August 1) – LIFELINE Blood Services is reminding community members of their annual car giveaway for those who donate blood between now and the first week of September. Joe Mahan Ford of Paris donated a 2019 Ford EcoSport to be given away to one lucky blood donor. The contest ends on Labor Day and the drawing for a winner will be held soon after for those who have donated blood during the contest period. This is the fourth annual Car Giveaway. Donors can give blood at any bloodmobile collection site or at the Blood Services center in Jackson or Dyersburg for a chance to win.
LIFELINE also announces a critical need for O-positive, O-negative, A-negative and B-negative blood types in the West Tennessee region.

Friday, August 12: 12-4:30 p.m., Simmons Bank – Kenton;
Thursday, August 18: 12:30-5:30 p.m., Tate Family Foods – Greenfield;
Monday, August 22: 1-6 p.m., EW James and Sons – McKenzie;
Monday, August 22: 1-7 p.m., EW James and Sons – Union City;
Wednesday, August 24: 2-6 p.m., First Pentecostal Church – Huntingdon;
Wednesday, August 24: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Henry County Medical Center – Paris;
Friday, August 26: 1:30-5:30 p.m., First Community Bank – South Fulton;
Monday, August 29: 12-6 p.m., Joe Mahan Ford – Paris.
Blood donors may also visit the LIFELINE centers located at 183 Sterling Farm Dr., Jackson, and 1130 Hwy. 51 Bypass Suites 19 and 20, Dyersburg to give blood.
