Weakley County Farm Bureau Women and the Weakley County Young Farmers recently developed “The ABC'S of Agriculture Booklet.” The informative booklet took each letter of the alphabet and assigned the letter an agriculture-related vocabulary word. The vocabulary words were broken into three categories: Plant, Animal and Environment. Each word in the booklet has a symbol to help students identify the category that is being used. Pictures also accompany the word to help illustrate the agricultural terminology. The booklets were designed to be used with third-graders.
