Elizabeth Simmons, 89, of Dresden, died Saturday, June 12, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Funeral services were Thursday, June 17, at Bowlin Funeral Home. Burial followed in Mack’s Grove Cemetery. She was born August 17, 1931, to the late J.C. and Iva Matheny Powers.
