Estate of WANDA VOWELL ROGERS

Notice is hereby given that on the 17th day of April, 2026, LETTERS TESTAMENTARY in respect of the estate of WANDA VOWELL ROGERS, who died March 22, 2026 were issued to the undersigned by the Chancery Court for Weakley County, Tennessee. All persons, resident and nonresident, having claims matured or unmatured, against the estate are required to file the same with the clerk of the above-named court on or before the earlier of the dates prescribed in (1) or (2) otherwise their claims will be forever barred:

(1.) (a.) Four months from the date of the first publication of this notice if the creditor

received an actual copy of this notice to creditors at least sixty days before the date

that is four months from the date of the first publication; or

(b.) Sixty days from the date the creditor received an actual copy of the notice to

creditors if the creditor received the copy of the notice less than sixty days prior to

the date that is four months from the date of first publication as described in

(1)(a); or

(2) Twelve months from the decedent’s date of death.

THE FORMAL SESSION OF THE WEAKLEY COUNTY COMMISSION WILL MEET ON MAY 14, 2026, AT 5:00 PM IN THE COUNTY COMMISSION ROOM AT THE COURTHOUSE IN DRESDEN, TN FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING THE AGENDA ITEMS LISTED AT WWW.WEAKLEYCOUNTYTN.GOV/COUNTYCOMMISSION.HTML.

ANYONE WANTING TO PROVIDE PUBLIC COMMENT SHALL DO SO IN THE MANNER PROVIDED IN THE COUNTY’S PROCEDURES.  SUCH PROCEDURES ARE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST AT THE COUNTY CLERK’S OFFICE.  THIS NOTICE IS GIVEN IN PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTIONS 8-44-101 TO 8-44-106, INCLUSIVE, TN CODE ANNOTATED.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

The city of Dresden, Tennessee, Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action Employers, and planning consultant, A2H, Inc. are pleased to announce the dates and times for two Parks and Recreation Systemwide Plan community input meetings.  

The public is encouraged to participate in this exciting and important planning project. The input received from the community will support the preparation of a Parks and Recreation Systemwide Plan that will guide the revitalization and enhancement of the public park system amenities and recreation opportunities for many years to come.

The community input meetings are open to the public and anyone with an interest is invited to attend.  

When: Tuesday, May 19th – 6 pm 

Where: Dresden City Hall
