JACKSON — Dr. William (Bill) Thomas Byars, Jr., 71, died Monday, May 11, 2020, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.

Dr. Byars is survived by his sister, Brenda (Fred) Harper of Memphis, his niece, and three great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William (Billy) Thomas Byars, Sr. and Jeanette Kemp Byars.
