This month’s Greenfield Book Jackets will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. at the library. The group is discussing the book, “Woman of Troublesome Creek” by Michelle Richardson. We welcome new members anytime.

We are having a watercolor painting class with Marallie Smithson on Nov. 9 at 1 pm. Please call the library if you’re interested in signing up for the class.

As a reminder on Wednesdays we have our Twisted Stitchers at 1 p.m., Game Day from 3:30-4:30 p.m., Thursday Family Storytime at 10 a.m., and on Friday, Legos from 3:30-4:30 p.m. We also have a new in-library game for the teens; stop by and check out our Virtual Reality Headset.

Are you interested in learning how to play bridge? If so, contact the library and we can make that happen.

We still offer wireless printing, faxing and copying and ILL (Interlibrary Loan) services to our patrons. Don’t forget about using R.E.A.D.S. Overdrive (Libby App) for thousands of books and check out all the current magazines they offer online. Please check out the Libby App, there have been some changes made to help better serve our patrons. Remember we do issue “eCards” for people who only wish to access online books, call the library for more information.

As a reminder the library will be closed Nov. 10-11 in honor of Veterans Day.

Stop by and pick up a monthly newsletter for more information and a list of our new materials. The Dr. Nathan Porter Library is located at 228 N. Front St., Greenfield. Call 731-235-9932 for more information.
