Captured Fugitive Charged with Theft in Weakley County, Awaiting Extradition Back to Paducah

DRESDEN (May 12) — A Kentucky man, who remains incarcerated in the Weakley County Jail on forgery and theft charges, is also wanted by McCracken County authorities.

Corey Adam Runkle, 33, of Paducah, is charged with being a fugitive from justice in Kentucky. Weakley County authorities are also charging the defendant with four counts of forgery up to $1,000, and theft of property $1,000 to $2,500, which allegedly occurred in September of 2019.

According to Weakley County Sheriff’s Department Sergeant Neil Cantrell, after Runkle faces the charges in Weakley County General Sessions Court on Wednesday, May 13. McCracken County authorities are extraditing the defendant back to Paducah where he is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, May 18.
