Bro. James "Jim" Robert Robinson 1948-2024
Bro. James "Jim" Robert Robinson, age 75 of Dresden, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, June 15th at Liberty Baptist Church in Dresden beginning at 12 noon with memorial service to follow at 1:00pm. Bro. Pete Staples will officiate the service. Jim was born to the late Lucian Robinson and Sara Westbrooks in Jackson, TN. He married his wife, Barbara Pollard Robinson, of 57 years on December 13, 1966. He was a retired pastor. He is survived by his wife Barbara Robinson; daughter Debbie Robinson Stewart; son John Robinson; brother Joe Keith Dilday; sisters Janie Robinson Jones, Suzanne Robinson Buttrey, Renee Robinson Melton, Cindy Cox, and Beth Dilday Parker; 3 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter Janice Robinson Barnett, step parents Betty Robinson and Charles Dilday, and brothers Kevin Dilday, Kenny Dilday, Gerald Brown, and Bob Robinson.
