MARTIN (September 26) – Beulah Land Cowboy Church services are at the church and also online on Roger-Cindy McPeak’s Facebook page. “Our nation needs our continued prayers,” church members noted.
Sunday morning, Bro. Robert Baker led the song service. Special prayer requests were lifted up that morning for so many. Rick King provided the specials, “Ain’t No Grave,” “That Train is Coming” and “Thank You Lord, for Your Blessings on Me.”
Church members were so blessed to have the new Director of Missions of the Beulah Baptist Association, Marshall Key, along with his wife and son.
Bro. Marshall shared about his life and family and brought us up to date on the association events. He also brought the message, “Committed Disciples.” Scriptures were from Matthew chapter 4. Commitment always has a follow-up and a follow-through.
Sunday evening, there was a baptism of a woman and her teenage son. They both became candidates for membership of the church. Afterward, Cindy McPeak led the ladies’ service. The lesson was “A Closer Walk with God.” Some of the scriptures were Micah chapter 6, James 4 and Romans 13. Food was served in fellowship hall after the service.
