MARTIN (March 14) - The church is having services and plans to stay open. The services are still online for the Sunday morning and evening worship services and Wednesday night Bible study on Roger-Cindy McPeak’s Facebook page.

Bro. Robert Baker led the song service Sunday. Bro. Roger sang “Precious Memories.” Bro. Robert and Julie Baker sang “Thanks to Calvary.” Bro. Roger’s message, “Doing Whatever It Takes,” was taken from Judges chapters 3 and 4 and Acts 5. God will do whatever it takes to get people to come to know Him; we need to also do whatever it takes to tell others of His salvation, was the message.

Sunday evening, Bro. Roger led the music service. Sandra Smith and Cindy McPeak provided the special music. Bro. Robert brought the message, “Promise of the Holy Spirit.” Scriptures were from John chapters 14 and16 and Romans 8. As born-again believers, Jesus has given everyone a Helper, the Holy Spirit, that dwells within each person.

Plans are being made for the church’s Easter Sunday activities. Revival at the church will be held May 19-23. Friday night is Youth night. Donald Doster will be the evangelist.
