Barbara L. Mount 1937 - 2021

Barbara Louise Glenn Mount was born in Louisville, Kentucky, May 22, 1937, to the late Orville R. Glenn Sr. and Mary Louise Jones Glenn.

She was a member of First Baptist Church Sharon, Tennessee, where she was the organist and assistant pianist for over 25 years. She was a member of the choir with a beautiful soprano voice. In retirement she and her husband served as the church custodians.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James “Jimmie” William Mount; three brothers, James, Orville “Spud,” and Leslie Glenn; and one sister, Brenda Moore.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 67 years, Floyd Thomas “Sonny” Mount; a son, Tommy (Debbie) Mount and a daughter, Sue Mount; Sisters-in-law, Brenda Glenn and Susan Glenn; Grandchildren, Matt (Deanna) Mount, Misti (Jacob) Coleman, Heather (Adrian) Farris, Sarah Beth (Bob) King, Trevor Sharp, Maci (Travis) Reaves, Brandy (Wynn) Taylor, and Maley (Adam) Bailey; Great-Grandchildren, Katelyn (Kenneth) Shawn, Dylan King, Kailee Graves, Zanlon Farris, Anna Beth Coleman, Lynnsie Coleman, Kensley Farris, Xenyia Sharpe, Caiden Mount, Stephen “ OJ” Shane, Creek Coleman, Laniyah Shane, Silas Coleman, Emma Reaves, Ava Reaves, Tariq Taylor, Braylon Bailey and Coralynn Bailey; one Great-Great-Grandchild, Ellisia Nevaeh Shawn; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was Saturday, June 26, at Williams Funeral Home in Greenfield, Tennessee, with the Memorial Service following.
