Bailey Collie traveled to Hendersonville for the TSSAA State Championship Thursday, November 7th. Competing against 243 of the top athletes in the state of Tennessee, Collie came in 107th with a time of 23:12 for the hilly, three-mile course.
“Going to state as a freshman in such a strong field of competition is so impressive.” Remarked Dresden coach, Wendi Maxie. “Bailey has competed in a state competition every year since she began running in the 4th grade. It has been a great season for Bailey and I’m excited to see her get stronger and faster over the next three years.”
