Dresden Lions Rack Up All-Region Honors

Dresden High School football coach Keith Hodge and 11 of his Lion football players earned top honors for Region 6A honors.
Hodge, who guided the Lions to a 13-1 mark and a place in the Class A state semifinals, was named 7A coach of the year.
Dresden senior quarterback Cameron Schlicht, a Mr. Football finalist, was lauded as regional MVP.
Lion senior Tristan Jett was regional defensive player of the year. Junior kicker and German import Paul Betzou was named 7A kicker of the year.
Additionally, eight other Dresden players earned all-7A honors. They were Milo Pflueger, Micah Wingate, Nick Turnbow, Christopher Mann, Jaqwan Ellison, Will Childs, Reese Bell and Austin Barnes.
Dresden will bid farewell to 15 seniors.
