Bettye Legons has served on the Weakley County Ned McWherter Public Library Board since 2007. She was honored at her last meeting with a plaque for her service and commitment. She was library board chairman for many years and “did a fine outstanding job,” according to team members of the Dresden library. Judge Thomas L. Moore was chosen to take over as the new Chairman of the Weakley County Library Board beginning in July when the new fiscal year begins.
