Josie Ruth McPeak) 1929 - 2022

Josie Ruth McPeak age 93, of Gleason, Tennessee, passed away on April 21, 2022, at her home. Funeral services were Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 2 p.m. in Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Old Union Cemetery. Bro. Terry Hillard officiated the service. Visitation was held Friday evening at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. and again on Saturday morning from 11 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. Josie Ruth (Teague) McPeak was born on February 11, 1929, to the late Leamon and Vera Bailey Teague in Gleason, Tennessee. She was a homemaker and attended Beulah Land Cowboy Church in Martin and Hodges Chapel Baptist Church in Palmersville, Tennessee. She is survived by her sons, Rufus, Oscar, Roger McPeak; one daughter, LaRuth Hillard; 14 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Rufus McPeak Sr. and her son Leamon McPeak.
