WCRP Community Series Event is Saturday

The Weakley County Reconciliation Project (WCRP) will host a community stories event at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 23, in the Greenfield Community Center, located in Greenfield. inviting area residents to share stories on experiences that have shaped their views on race. The event will include a video presentation highlighting the inspiration behind the WCRP and a guided discussion about issues of race. WCRP hosts regular meetings throughout Weakley county to foster and build stronger relationships through meaningful discussions about racial issues and concerns. The hope is to create an environment of understanding, respect and healing.

Attendees will have the opportunity to share their own stories and experiences. There will also be a Q&A session. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
