Claude Eugene "Gene" Perkins 1930 - 2022

Claude Eugene Perkins, age 91, of Dresden, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. Funeral services were held Saturday, February 12, at Bowlin Funeral Home. Burial followed in Mack’s Grove Cemetery. Visitation was held Saturday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Mr. Perkins was born August 29, 1930, in Mayfield, Kentucky, to the late Osa and Sarah Shobe Perkins. Mr. Perkins is survived by his wife, Robbie Perkins; sons, Ronald (Deborah) Perkins and Donald Perkins; his daughter, Carol (Buddy) Bell; and four grandchildren, Cody (Natalie) Perkins, Colleen Perkins, Monica (James) Owen and Jordan Bell. Mr. Perkins was a United States Air Force veteran. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Dresden First Baptist Church building fund or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at 200 Vesey Street 28th floor, New York, NY 10281.
