Celebrating a Century of Partnership

CELEBRATING A CENTURY OF PARTNERSHIP – The Tennessee Farm Bureau Organization recently celebrated 100 years of existence at its Annual Convention in December 2021. The Tennessee Farm Bureau is a grassroots farm organization whose goal is to be a voice for farmers, farm families and rural people across the state of Tennessee. The Farm Bureau Women across THE state work to communicate the agricultural story. Weakley County Farm Bureau Women spent 2021 educating local students and community about the importance of agriculture in daily lives. At the recent Annual Meeting held in Franklin, the Weakley County Farm Bureau Women received a Top County Award in Category V for their efforts to promote agriculture. They were also named a Blue Award Winner in the Women’s Leadership Awards Program. (Category VI) and Elaine Loftin, Houston Co. (Category I).
