Local Businesses Hosts Ribbon Cuttings

E.W. JAMES SUPERMARKET REMODEL RIBBON CUTTING – After being in business for many years in Dresden, E.W. James Supermarket in Dresden, located at 8724 Hwy. 22, underwent a large-scale remodeling project and hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the store’s new look and its joining of the Weakley County Chamber of Commerce. FARM CREDIT MID-AMERICA JOINS CHAMBER – Farm Credit Mid-America’s Dresden location was welcomed into the Weakley County Chamber of Commerce earlier this month by hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday, November 5. Farm Credit Mid-America offers a wide array of financial services for those in the Weakley County and surrounding areas. Located at 800 Morrow St. in Dresden. The office building also remodeled inside and offered community members a look inside. Members from the Dresden office and satellite office gathered in front of the Farm Credit Mid-America building. MARTIN COURTYARD OPENS TO COMMUNITY – Martin welcomed a much-anticipated business as the Martin Courtyard held its grand opening Friday, November 12. A special lunch was served and guests were shown the venue that can be used for any and all special occasions. The event was a combination venture as the Martin Courtyard joined the Martin Business Association and Weakley County Chamber of Commerce. The family-owned business includes owners Dr. Nassar Nassar, wife Tracy and daughter Summer. Tracy’s parents were also on hand for Friday’s event.
