CELEBRATING AGRICULTURE

Weakley County Farm Bureau Women recently celebrated National Ag Week at Tate Family Foods in Greenfield. The group gave out items made from soybeans, information on agricultural commodities produced in Weakley County as well as information on the importance of agriculture in the State of Tennessee. They also held a drawing for a gift card from Tate’s grocery store. Farm Bureau Women Board members who participated in the educational event were (L to R) Janie Yeargin, Linda Fowler, Alice Ann Yeargin, Terri Brundige, Janice Moore and Kathy Bates.
