The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Emily Brook Allen and Bryan Keith Garren are being announced by the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Billy (Melissa) Allen of Sharon. The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jason (Jana) Acy of Lyles, Tennessee.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. David (Bonnie) Roberts of Sharon; Mr. and Mrs. James MacArthur (Josephine) Allen of Sidonia and the late Margaret Sanders Edmonds of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.

She is a 2013 graduate of Greenfield High School and a 2017 graduate of The University of Tennessee at Martin, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. She is currently employed in the loan department of Greenfield Banking Company.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Art (Kathy) Craft of Lyles.

Bryan is a 2014 graduate of Hickman County High School. He graduated from The University of Tennessee at Martin in 2018 with a degree in AgBusiness. He is currently employed at The UT AgResearch and Education Center in Milan.

The couple will exchange vows May 22, 2021, at Waddell Place in McKenzie. Music will begin at 4:30 p.m. with a ceremony at 5 p.m. A reception will follow at the wedding site. Invitations have been sent.

Upon return from their honeymoon in Panama City Beach, Florida, the couple will make their home in Sharon.
