Billy Joe Dildine 1933 - 2020

Funeral Services for Billy Joe Dildine, 88, formerly of Reeds Spring, Missouri, was held March 11, at 2 p.m. in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Branson, Missouri. Burial followed in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson. Mr. Dildine entered into rest on February 24 at his son’s home in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia.

Billy Joe was born January 3, 1933, in Martin, Tennessee to Samuel Harvey and Myrtle Dildine. He married Jennie Dykstra on November 11, 1961, in Palos Heights, Illinois. They celebrated 57 years of marriage before Jennie’s passing in 2019.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jennie; infant son, Billy Ray Dildine; brother, Rayford Dildine; and sisters, Mary Frances Robbins, Elizabeth “T” Lee and Zola Mae Dilday.

He is survived by his son, Billy A. Dildine (Susie) of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia; daughter, Janey Montgomery of Hurst, Texas; granddaughter, Kayla Beth Dildine of Elgin, Illinois; brothers, Ben Dildine of Houston, Texas and Bob Dildine of Martin, Tennessee; and sisters, Sarah Snyder of Martin, Tennessee; Naomi Williams of Sharon, Tennessee; Martha Dean Arrington of Greenfield, Tennessee; and Irene Dilday of Dresden, Tennessee.
