Westview's Simpson Opts to 'Roll Tide'

MARTIN (February 26) – Friends, family, coaches, and teammates gathered for Westview Chargers quarterback Ty Simpson’s decision to further his football career in a post-secondary school. Simpson chose to sign with the University of Alabama. Simpson, a junior at Westview, was highly sought after by many football programs from all over the country, including Clemson and UT Knoxville. Joining Simpson (Center) in the announcement were his parents, Julie (L & R) and Jason Simpson. Jason Simpson is the head coach for the University of Tennessee at Martin football team.
