Mary Blackburn

Mary Frances Blackburn, 97, of Greenfield, TN, passed away at Weakley Co. Nursing Home on December 16, 2020. She had a graveside service at Hornbeak Cemetery at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 20, 2020. Burial followed.

Mrs. Blackburn is survived by four children; Joe (Brenda) Blackburn of Sharon, TN, Betty Jean Strickland of Lakeland, TN, Ludean (Larry) Ferrell and Judy (Ronnie) Hollis both of Greenfield, TN. She is also survived by a sister, Imogene Childers of Trenton, TN. Mrs. Blackburn leaves behind eleven grandchildren; Floyd (Angie) Strickland III, Kevin (Michelle) Strickland, Paul (Jennifer) Strickland, Charles (Rena) Strickland, Sandra Coffey, Richard (Robin) Sharp, Lacey (Eric) Overton, Ginger (Jeff) Crouch, Amy (Fred) Miller, Zeke McAdams, and Curt McAdams. She also leaves behind 19 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Mrs. Blackburn was preceded in death by her husband, James Ervin Blackburn, parents, Lowell Thomas and Esther Nield Roberts, siblings, Lowell Thomas Roberts Jr., G.W. Roberts, Evelyn Hoffman, and Martha Oliver, and son-in-law, Floyd Strickland Jr.

Williams Funeral Home was in charge of the final arrangements.
