Greenfield’s Ginny Archie Selected to the All-West TN Cross Country Team
GREENFIELD (November 11) - Greenfield High School began its cross-country team this school year, and already has an All-West Tennessee runner in the ranks.
Freshmen Ginny Archie was recently named to the All-West Tennessee Cross Country Team. Archie recently placed 34th in the TSSAA Cross Country State Championship earlier this month.
Cross country head coach Mikaela Roberts stated Archie was one of the hardest-working members of the team. The team was surprised to find out that she was named to the All-West team because she is a freshman. Coach Roberts also went on to say, “Ginny has definitely deserved it and worked for it. She is a great person and she works hard.”
Coach Roberts said she is very excited to see what will come for the team and how much Archie will improve in the coming years.
