50-Year Eastern Star Member Receives Pin

DRESDEN - Bob Reavis and members of #71 Order of the Eastern Star met at the Weakley County Nursing Home in Dresden last week to present Mary Jane Cox her 50-year membership pin. It was a very emotional time for members and residents and was celebrated in spite of COVID-19. Members gathered around the glass entryway outside of the nursing home while Worthy Matron Tracey King conducted the presentation via cell phone with the speaker on so all could hear. Cox's 50-year pin was presented to her by a nurse inside. Her husband, Raymond, was proud as he witnessed the event.
