DRESDEN — Marjorie Riggs Cooper, 92, of Dresden, died Friday, July 31, at Diversicare in Martin, Tenn. Funeral services were Sunday, August 2, at Bowlin Funeral Home with Steve Boone officiating. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Ruby Riggs, her husband, Richard H. Cooper; two brothers, Marion and Jerry Riggs, one sister, Shirley Riggs Norvell, and one great-granddaughter, Bentlee Michelle Marvin.
She is survived by her two children, Cherie (Mike) Sawyers, Kerry (Cindy) Cooper, 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandsons.
