BETTY G. WRIGHT 1929 — 2020

Mrs. Betty McDurmon Wright, 90, died Monday, July 20, 2020, at Van Ayer Healthcare and Rehab in Martin.

Memorial Service and Celebration of Life are Thursday, July 30, 2020, 11 a.m. at Murphy Funeral Home, Martin. Visitation with the family begins at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Due to health concerns the family has requested everyone be aware of social distancing and wear a face covering.

Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Wright, her son, Joey Wright, her brother, Douglas Earl McDurmon, her sister, Patsy Nell McDurmon and parents, Leonard McDurmon and Lyndell Riley McDurmon.

She was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church in Martin.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her children, Tressa (Ron) Jacobs of Martin and Mike (Judy) Wright of Meridianville, Ala., sister, Iris (Don) Bell of Martin, and three grandchildren. Murphy Funeral Home.
