My grandfather was a great man. I am who I am today because of his great patients, understanding, love, and his knowledge. His memory lives on through us, as long as our as a family remains true and strong, his mission in life will continue to be brought to the next generations. In life we learn that time is an enemy, so we must not turn away from the truth, that our time to will end. My grandfather taught me this very truth, and in doing so has made me a better man. I will always hold you dear and near to my heart.
Charles was my first cousin,,,,our mother’s,,,,Mollie Mae and Bessie Kate (King) were sisters,,, I found out when I called Brooksie on the 24 of August to wish her a happy 94th birthday that Charles had passed away from colon cancer,,,,I was saddened by the news. Charles was a successful man and made it by smart thinking and hard work,,,he lived a long life and I imagine it was a happy one,,,,may he rest in peace,
