Rance William Goins 1959 — 2020

Rance Willam Goins was born August 7, 1959, to Doug and Doris Goins in Amarillo, Texas. He left this life on June 5, 2020, at his home in Springville, Tennessee.

Rance served in the United States Army National Guard for approximately 12 years. He was called to serve our country overseas three times.

Rance worked as a semi-truck driver for Doyle Sims Trucking prior to his stroke in 2014.

Rance and Carolyn met and made a commitment to each other in 2012. He loved boating, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

Rance is survived by Carolyn Alexander of Springville, Tennessee; his mother, Doris Goins of Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Two sisters; Rose (Bill) Engel and Rebecca Norris from Texas. Three brothers; Roy (Kim) Goins from Indiana and Russell Goins; Robert (Betty) Goins from Texas. Two set sons, Joey (Karen) Reagan of Dresden, Tennessee, and Steven (Pamela) Reagan of Brownsville, Tennessee. Four step-granddaughters and a host of nieces and nephews.

Rance is proceeded in death by his father, Doug Goins.

Memorial services were held on June 7, 2020, at Springville Baptist Church.

Rance donated his body to medical science. His final resting place will be in Texas.
