JAMES POINER, Sr. 1946 — 2020

RIPLEY — James Darryl (JD) Poiner, Sr., 73, of Ripley Tenn. died Thursday, June 25 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Per his request, he was cremated with a private memorial service at a later date.

JD was born in Newbern, Tenn. to the late James and Bessie (Dew) Poiner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Poiner; and two sisters, Peggy Morris and Glenda Tatum.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Poiner of Ripley; son, James Darryl (Andi) Poiner, Jr. of Martin, two daughters, Carol Jean Oliver of Indianola, Miss. and Margaret Ann Boswell of Dresden, three sisters, Carol (Bob) Ciuffoletti of Kennett, Missouri, Linda (Larry) Bugg of Martin and Pat (Harvey) Baker of Martin, three granddaughters, one grandson, and one great-granddaughter.
