Vehicle Burglaries Reported In Martin

MARTIN (June 23) — The Martin Police Department received several reports of vehicle burglaries recently.

According to Assistant Police Chief Phillip Fuqua, in the past three weeks, numerous incidents have been reported in different areas of the city. Several of these incidents involve the theft of firearms from vehicles, which were unlocked at the time of the thefts.

The Martin Police Department is reminding local citizens to remove valuables from their vehicles and keep their vehicles locked at all times.

These incidents are under investigation and information will be released when an arrest is made.
