GLEASON — Doris Dean Lane, 93, formerly of Gleason, Tenn., died at her home in La Vergne, Tenn. on June 1, 2020. Funeral services were Wednesday, June 3, at Williams Funeral Home of Gleason. Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery.
She was born October 1, 1926 and died June 1, 2020
Mrs. Lane is survived by two sisters, Joan Black of Gleason and Linda Arford of Okemos, Mich. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Patty Lane, and three grandchildren, Jason Lane, Penny Hargrove, and Danny Lipps. Mrs. Lane leaves behind two great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John William Lane, Sr., son, John W. Lane Jr., daughter, Doris Ann Brown, and parents, Jewel and Naomi Phelps.
